Peer Support Job Board
Partnering with Thomas M. Wernert Center, we brought the Peer Support Job Board to life - designing a functional landing page, creating a unified marketing theme, and running targeted social campaigns that connected job seekers with peer support opportunities across multiple organizations.
PEER POWER — LAUNCHING & MARKETING A COMMUNITY JOB BOARD

Client Overview
Thomas M. Wernert Center (TMWC) is a mental health organization committed to supporting individuals through peer-based care models. As demand for Peer Support professionals continues to grow, TMWC saw an opportunity to create a centralized job board to serve not only their organization, but the broader mental health community.
Peer Support roles are essential within mental health organizations, yet job postings for these positions are often fragmented across individual websites and platforms. TMWC needed a solution that would:
- Centralize Peer Support job opportunities
- Allow multiple mental health organizations to submit listings
- Prevent spam and low-quality submissions
- Be scalable, maintainable, and community-focused
After launching the initial job board, an additional challenge emerged: while functional, the board lacked visual clarity, cohesive branding, and a strong promotional strategy to drive adoption.
- 01
We first built a dynamic, CMS-powered job board allowing organizations to submit job listings through a streamlined form. To maintain quality, all submissions were routed through a pending approval workflow for admins. The system was designed to support organizations beyond TMWC.

- 02
Once live, we shifted focus to usability and visual identity. Our team developed a cohesive theme aligned with TMWC's mission, reworked job listings for clarity and accessibility, and expanded content to better explain the board's value, resulting in a cleaner, more inviting experience.

- 03
To grow adoption organically, we launched a targeted email campaign to mental health organizations, introducing the board as a shared resource and encouraging them to post roles. This included shareable social media graphics to amplify reach.

- 04
To reach individuals actively seeking roles, we executed a 3-month Facebook ad campaign with static graphics and short-form video, focusing on purpose-driven careers. Ads were optimized for traffic and engagement, driving users directly to the job board.

- 05
To complement digital efforts, we designed physical promotional materials like branded pens, backpacks, notebooks, and fidget toys. These tangible items helped extend awareness beyond digital channels and into real-world community spaces.

More importantly, the board became a recognizable and trusted resource for Peer Support job seekers and organizations alike.
